Financial Assistance For Registration Fees

We believe that no player should be left on the sidelines and all should be given
the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports.   


KidSport Funding

Applicants who qualify will receive a maximum of $125.00 for the outdoor season.  Kidsport fund $250 a year, per child, but $125 can be accessed every 6 months. Applications can be made on-line or by downloading the application and sending it to KidSport.

All applications must be made prior to the on-time payment deadlines for each season. Confirmation from Kidsport and/or Jump Start must be included when you attend an in person payment session or at the SWEMSA office.  If that deadline has past, please contact your community Soccer Coordinator for the outdoor season, or the SWEMSA Administrator for the indoor season.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Funding

For the application for indoor season, the organization to which the funding should be sent to is Edmonton Minor Soccer Association South West or EMSA South West and the address should be listed as # 211 – 11 Fairway Drive NW Edmonton Alberta T6J 2W4


SWEMSA Board can review and consider waiving the balance of the registration fee for participants that have applied for funding on a case to case basis.
